I am London-born and began my adventure in the area of ceramics 6 years ago at the local adult education college.

Over the years I have explored the many techniques from coiling to throwing that can be used to produce different forms of pottery.

As a scientist for over 30 years, I have been interested in how different microorganisms, especially pathogens interact with humans and other animals, the HIV virus and the airborne virus SARS-CoV-2. I draw on my scientific background to channel my creativity in fun and unique ways.

Much of my recent work has focused on the amazing shapes and structures of diatoms.
